Tan Sri Khalid Saman SPRM

Yesterday (27 April 2009), Menteri Besar Selangor failed defamation suit against Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Chief Commissioner, Dato’ Seri Ahmad Said Hamdan because of this statement:

In a report in the New Straits Times in February, Ahmad Said said: “We have completed investigations and we are satisfied that there are elements of abuse of power on the part of the Selangor Mentri Besar.”

According to Tan Sri Khalid's lawyer, stated in MACC Acts, it is beyond his power as chief commissioner to make such allegation.

Eventually, Tan Sri Khalid sues MACC Chief for breaking MACC own act!
