Maestro Bankrupt

Maestro Talent & Management Sdn Bhd, the talent management, recording and publishing arm of Astro, ceased operation starting March 31st. These leaved more than 20 artists (mainly graduated from Akademi Fantasia reality TV show) under their care remain with uncertain future.

Lesson to be learned here, quality it far better than quantity.

Astro Entertainment Sdn Bhd. (supposely to take over Maestro’s function) knew this fact and already signed a deal with Maestro 'A-list' artists such as Mawi, Mila, Stacy, Farah and booted out majority of loss-making singer previously under Maestro.
