Football Club on Twitter

Liverpool Football Club became the first Premier League club to set up an official presence on Twitter when it launched http://twitter.com/LFCTV earlier this year and, despite a low key launch, it has fast become the biggest football Twitter site in the world. Currently they have more than 10,000 supporters from all over the world followed their twitter's page.

Still got some way to go before they rival Twitter's most popular user Barack Obama who has over 316,000 followers!
